Thierry, 60

Engineer at Bouygues Telecom for about twenty years, a job he says is quite stressful. Initially, he thought his illness was related to stress, but in fact, he has melanoma (skin cancer).

It all started in 2014 when Thierry made an appointment with a dermatologist somewhat by chance, who discovered an unsightly mole on his back. After analysis, it was found to be a stage 4 melanoma.

The area was excised further to eliminate any risk of cancer spreading. Thierry continued his regular check-ups until 2017 when he was weakened by his work, stress, etc. In addition to general severe fatigue, he had very bad back pain. Following this, a scan was performed, and unfortunately, Thierry discovered he had a large tumor in his lung.

A PET scan was prescribed, and new tumors were discovered. Tumors were found in his liver and three in his brain, for which he received treatment.

At the beginning of 2020, another tumor appeared in his head. And in 2021, when his testimony was recorded, Thierry was still undergoing treatment for this notorious tumor.
